Two workers showed up this morning on Billberry Street in Worcester to move my daughter out of a one bedroom apartment. Little did they know, she was on the fourth floor of a four story walk up. Everything was moved with care and consideration. Both Alex and James were extremely helpful and very cordial. When our design firm took on a client’s project out of state, we knew we had to first find a reliable receiver and mover but didn’t have any contacts in the area. After a lot of research and an impressionable phone call with the owner, we made the decision to go with Massad Movers. It was absolutely the right decision! We have been so impressed with their level of professionalism and communication. Especially in a high end project, we had no worries as they took every precaution to be careful and respectful of the home and surroundings. They are efficient and tidy; never leaving a mess behind. Everyone we’ve worked with (especially Patrick who’s been at every install to date) is so friendly and willing to do whatever was needed. For the big jobs like moving an enormous rug and an even bigger dining table, they sent a big crew to match the job. Not only was installation day a breeze but they also received and stored a wide array of furniture, rugs, and antiques and were quick to report any issues they saw so we could address them quickly. Massad Movers took so much of the stress and worry out of our job, and we could not be happier!

I want to update my original review now that I’ve had my belongings stored with this company for four years. Although my first experience left me unsure, time has shown me that this is a family business with real integrity, strong values, and genuine care for their customers.Over the years, my storage needs have changed, and they have consistently been accommodating and helpful. Their communication has been great—whether by phone or email, there has always been someone available during business hours to answer questions or assist with anything I needed. I’ve pulled items from storage a few times, and every time I’ve seen that my belongings have been extremely well kept. No issues with water, pests, temperature damage, or anything else. It truly feels like my things have been “frozen in time.”I also have a better understanding now of the time it takes to move and store items properly. After seeing how long it took me just to pack a few things into my own car—and considering how much I had—I can see that the hours they billed were realistic. They work efficiently and quickly, even if I didn’t fully understand that at the time.This is a hardworking, compassionate family business, and they’ve earned a higher rating from me. I appreciate the integrity they’ve shown and the care they’ve taken with my belongings over the years.Original 3 star review:The movers were nice. was able to book then last minute. They are able to move pianos. Ended up being very costly because of the lack of transparency with the amount of time it takes to move. My move took 7 hours. I still don't know how. Getting the stuff out of my apartment into the truck was about 3 hours. Don't know why it took 4 hours to unload at the warehouse. Also they did another job in between mine, so it is still unclear whether that pause was included in my 7 hours. I have yet to see my stuff at the warehouse. It's not like a storage unit you can just pop in and get what you want out. After my stuff left the apartment, I never saw them again. I called once to pull a few things out but never got a response. I trust that they are in storage crated up as I was told. I'll update this post and rating when I get to see them or when I move them out of there.

Patrick, Kris, Joe and Phil helped us move a couple of weeks ago. We couldn't have asked for better service. We weren't ready and they were so helpful strategizing what to move first and how to get us to where we needed to be. They were super efficient, friendly and really communicative. I had my 4 year old daughter with me, whose helpfulness could have been an annoyance and a distraction but they were wonderful with her! They were also so great on the other end, making sure that things went exactly where we wanted them and also letting my daughter look in the truck! If we were going to move again, which I hope we don't anytime soon, I would not hesitate to call them to take care of it. Our experience was better than we could have hoped for, thank you!

Massad Movers should get 10 stars!!! We have used them on 2 occasions and to say they were outstanding is an understatement! Our first move was a little over 6 years ago from a home we lived in located in Worcester for 37 years that had 38 steps and was a three story house. Unfortunately, the way the driveway was designed, the crew was unable to get the truck up the driveway and had to use the 38 steps up and down. Not a word of displeasure out of their mouths- just smiles and complete co-operation about everything we asked them to do!!! Recently we moved from an apartment complex to a condo duplex. Again, they showed up on time, well prepared and even helped box some things we didn't get to, as well as carefully protecting fragile objects, TVs, pictures, etc. When we arrived at the new home, they made sure we were happy with the location of everything. Hopefully, this is our last move (in our 70's now) but could never imagine using any company but this wonderful, family owned business. Bottom line, don't waste your time calling any other company, just use Massad!!!!

You just don’t find a group like this very often. I went out to the truck that they were almost done loading to ask a question and was struck with the care and order of their packing of our belonging. I also had to go to their storage warehouse to retrieve something and once again I was struck with the level of organization and assistance.Five stars is not enough to give this well run company.

Massad Movers moved our personal property to our new residence on Friday, June 21. The service provided by John, Bryan, and Ryan was first-rate in every respect. They arrived exactly at 8:00 AM as scheduled. They moved all of our furniture and appliances with impressive speed and efficiency. At every point they were careful not to damage the item or the house. They took similar care at our new residence, placing every item exactly where I wanted it. They completed the entire job by 11:30 AM. To a person John, Bryan, and Ryan were friendly and engaging. They all have great senses of humor. I cannot imagine a better moving experience.

We had a great experience with Massad Movers. We had them move furniture around, put stuff in the basement, empty out our storage unit and deliver the rest to another location. They flexed the schedule to get us in on the day that we wanted. Hustled the whole time. Very polite. Squeezed furniture where it shouldn't have fit. Put furniture back together almost as good as new (replaced some screws & nails). No damage. No footprints left behind.

We used Massad Movers recently to move from Westborough, MA to Newport, RI and we couldn't be happier with the crews that packed and moved us within 48 hours. Kris, Russell, Sean, Eric and Joe were incredible to work with! On move day, conditions were not ideal as it rained hard the entire day, both moving out and then moving in. The Crew parked the trucks close to both houses to minimize the rain would have on our belongings. These guys were as cohesive a Team as any I've seen in my Life. The were so professional, courteous, humorous and HARD WORKING!! They were in constant motion the entire day and finished up at 7:30pm. Since we are renting through June of next year, we plan on using them again when we move into our new home in Newport. You can't go wrong with Massad Movers!

We took a quick tour of the house we were moving from and the men got right to work. We were moving from Worcester, MA to Hyannis, MA all in a day. We were packed and on the road to Hyannis by 11:30 AM. The men started unloading the truck and they were still smiling and still polite. If they were unsure of something they would ask questions. There pace never slowed down even though it was a hot day. These three men worked as a team all day. They left us at 5:30 and all three were still smiling. Great job guys, you truly made our moving day a pleasure.

They charge by the hour and the price estimate I was quoted was almost spot on. No hidden fees, no trip charge (only the driving time), no labor fees, no truck fees. I recommend to just be aware that they may charge for longer time than it actually took to make the move, that's because they calculate the time from when they leave their facility to when they get back, which was not a problem for me because my move was local anyways. I was under the impression that they start the time when they arrive and they stop when they are done unloading, but this is incorrect.
