When our design firm took on a client’s project out of state, we knew we had to first find a reliable receiver and mover but didn’t have any contacts in the area. After a lot of research and an impressionable phone call with the owner, we made the decision to go with Massad Movers. It was absolutely the right decision! We have been so impressed with their level of professionalism and communication. Especially in a high end project, we had no worries as they took every precaution to be careful and respectful of the home and surroundings. They are efficient and tidy; never leaving a mess behind. Everyone we’ve worked with (especially Patrick who’s been at every install to date) is so friendly and willing to do whatever was needed. For the big jobs like moving an enormous rug and an even bigger dining table, they sent a big crew to match the job. Not only was installation day a breeze but they also received and stored a wide array of furniture, rugs, and antiques and were quick to report any issues they saw so we could address them quickly. Although my first experience left me unsure, time has shown me that this is a family business with real integrity, strong values, and genuine care for their customers.Over the years, my storage needs have changed, and they have consistently been accommodating and helpful. Their communication has been great—whether by phone or email, there has always been someone available during business hours to answer questions or assist with anything I needed. I’ve pulled items from storage a few times, and every time I’ve seen that my belongings have been extremely well kept. No issues with water, pests, temperature damage, or anything else. It truly feels like my things have been “frozen in time.”I also have a better understanding now of the time it takes to move and store items properly. After seeing how long it took me just to pack a few things into my own car—and considering how much I had—I can see that the hours they billed were realistic. Also they did another job in between mine, so it is still unclear whether that pause was included in my 7 hours. I have yet to see my stuff at the warehouse. It's not like a storage unit you can just pop in and get what you want out. After my stuff left the apartment, I never saw them again. I called once to pull a few things out but never got a response. I trust that they are in storage crated up as I was told. I'll update this post and rating when I get to see them or when I move them out of there.

Our first move was a little over 6 years ago from a home we lived in located in Worcester for 37 years that had 38 steps and was a three story house. Unfortunately, the way the driveway was designed, the crew was unable to get the truck up the driveway and had to use the 38 steps up and down. Not a word of displeasure out of their mouths- just smiles and complete co-operation about everything we asked them to do!!! Recently we moved from an apartment complex to a condo duplex. Again, they showed up on time, well prepared and even helped box some things we didn't get to, as well as carefully protecting fragile objects, TVs, pictures, etc. When we arrived at the new home, they made sure we were happy with the location of everything. Hopefully, this is our last move (in our 70's now) but could never imagine using any company but this wonderful, family owned business. Bottom line, don't waste your time calling any other company, just use Massad!!!!
